The Frans Hals Show offers Las Vegas- and Broadway-style revues and variety entertainment. The room has a revolving stage with hydraulic lifts, a confetti cannon effect system and a moving light system. The Wajang Theater is used for lectures, meetings and religious services, as well as current films. The Erasmus Library provides desks with stationery and current newspapers and magazines. The Casino, on the Upper Promenade Deck, offers slot machines, blackjack, poker, roulette and dice tables, open for use when the ship is at sea. The Lido swimming pool has a retractable glass magradome ceiling and a bronze sculpture of leaping dolphins by British sculptor Susanna Holt. A second swimming pool is located outside on Lido Deck. The ocean-view Ocean Spa fitness center includes a full-service beauty salon/barber shop; dual saunas and steam rooms; six spa treatment rooms; and a juice bar. The fitness room features treadmills, stationary bikes, stair steppers, rowing machines, weights and weight machines and glass walls for scenic views. Walks can be taken on the wrap-around teak walkway on Lower Promenade Deck, which also features traditional reclining wooden deck chairs. The Volendam also provides a children's room, the Sky Room, on the Sports Deck.
