Don’t be fooled by the name. Royal Caribbean's fleet now travels to hundreds of ports of call in some of the worlds most breath taking destinations. Accommodations
Suites
Suites offer more room, comfort and luxury. Most come with a private balcony and all include standard features. Some suites even include complimentary concierge service, which includes access to a private lounge as well as personalized service to help with making reservations or other arrangements. Suites are a great way to travel in style and give a family more space, while keeping everyone together. The Royal Family Suite can accommodate up to eight guests.
Balcony Staterooms
Each Balcony Stateroom includes two twin beds (can convert into queen-size), private balcony, sitting area and a private bathroom. They also include minibar, vanity area, hair-dryer, TV, phone, computer jack, vanity table with an extendable working surface for laptop computers and 110/220 electrical outlets. Some have a Pullman bed and/or sofa bed and can accommodate 3 guests. Some can also accommodate a rollaway bed or Pack ‘n Play.
Oceanview Staterooms
Guests will enjoy breath taking scenery just outside their window in the Oceanview staterooms. These staterooms include two twin beds (can convert into queen-size), large picture window, vanity area, a private bathroom and some have sitting area with sofa (180 sq. ft.). They also include minibar, hair-dryer, TV, phone, computer jack, vanity table with an extendable working surface for laptop computers, and 110/220 electrical outlets. Some have Pullman beds and can accommodate 3-4 guests.
Interior Staterooms
Interior staterooms offer great value for guests with out sacrificing comfort because these staterooms include all of the basic amenities that the other accommodations on the ship. They all include two twin beds (can convert into queen-size), vanity area, a private bathroom and some have sitting area with sofa.
Onboard Activities and Amenities
Theatre
With the glitz, glamour and special effects, guests will think the ship has docked on Broadway. Performed in the magnificent theatre, Royal Caribbean’s live productions feature the outstanding talent of The Royal Caribbean Singers and Dancers, along with well-known performers and headline acts.
Studio B
Guests won't believe their eyes when they step into Studio B. It's where they'll find the onboard ice-skating rink, not to mention the professional ice shows, which are a "can't miss." Featured on only our Voyager and Freedom family ships, Studio B is also home to other onboard activities like game shows, onboard parties, cooking demonstrations and more.
Onboard Classes
Guests who have a desire to learn something new will enjoy the variety of classes that are offered aboard Royal Caribbean’s ships. Some of the classes offered include dancing, wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, casino and card game lessons, ice-carving instruction, jewelry seminars and more. On Voyager-family ships, they also offer ice-skating lessons and rock-wall instruction.
Library
Impressive selections of books are available to check out. Guests can choose from a variety of topics, including travel, art, biography, fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, beauty, health and more. Daily trivia games are often held here as well.
Sports Deck
The Sports Deck offers guests cutting edge activities that will put them right in the middle of the action. Guests can join a game of pick up basketball or volleyball on the courts, work on their golf swing on the golf simulator, sharpen their short game on the mini golf course on some ships, or go for a jog on the track.
Rock Climbing Wall
Royal Caribbean’s signature rock-climbing walls are the most popular feature and are available on all Royal Caribbean cruise ships. They offer skill combinations for all levels, from beginners wanting to try something new to adventurous rock climbing experts. Guests who climb the wall will not only get a work out but also enjoy some of the best views on the ship.
Fitness Center
The fitness center has all the equipment and facilities that major sports clubs do: weight machines, free weights, stationary spin bikes, stair steppers, treadmills, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, and thermal suites. Plus a sweeping ocean view that extends for miles. They also offer all the latest classes, like Pilates, yoga, spinning, and kickboxing for all levels.
Shipshape Day Spa
Guests can embark on a pathway to complete relaxation. In the spa there’s a chance to indulge the mind, body and soul with an Elemis Aroma Stone Therapy or an Exotic Frangipani Hair & Scalp Conditioning Treatment. The Day Spa offers an array of cultural therapies designed to entice avid spa lovers, couples and men. They offer a complete spa menu that includes facials, massages and salon services such as hair and nail service.
Bars, Lounges, and Nightclubs
The excitement onboard the cruise ship doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Guests can dance the night away to hot Latin rhythms, watch a live band play their favorite song, laugh with a comedian, or enjoy a cocktail with some new friends in the many bars, lounges and discos.
Casinos
There's nothing like the sound of cards being shuffled, chips being stacked and slot machines paying off. Royal Caribbean has games for all levels of players. There are onboard lessons for novice players and tournaments for the more advanced. Royal Caribbean’s Casino Royale is open whenever guests are sailing so they can try their luck when ever they want.
Shopping
Our onboard shops offer a wide selection of merchandise, including: designer watches by TAG Heuer and Gucci, precious and semi-precious jewelry in gold or tanzanite, fine fragrances from Dior and Chanel, Swarovski crystal collectibles, Majorica pearls, and Estee Lauder cosmetics, just to name a few. Everything on board is tax- and duty-free with a savings of up to 25% off U.S. retail prices. Plus, Royal Caribbean offers a price guarantee. If a guest finds an identical item at a lower price, all they have to do is obtain written proof of the price and Royal Caribbean will gladly match it.
Art Auctions
If a guest is looking to add to their collection, they might find just what they're looking for at one of Royal Caribbean’s onboard art auctions. If browsing is more their preference, guests can walk through the onboard gallery or take a guided tour of the ship with the onboard art auctioneer.
Dining
Dining on a Royal Caribbean cruise is as exciting as every other aspect on board. Guests have such a variety of choices they won’t know where to start. Choices include the Main Dining room where guests can enjoy a five course meal, Italian cuisine at Portofino*, fabulous steaks at Chops Grille*, old fashion burger and fries in a 50s style diner at Johnny Rockets*, exotic Asian dishes at Jade*, a slice of pizza and ice cream any time at the Café Promenade* or casual dining at the Windjammer Café and of course Room Service. Cruising with Family
Fun isn't just for adults at Royal Caribbean. Kids from 3-17 are invited to take part in Royal Caribbean’s exciting, complimentary Adventure Ocean Youth Programs. Adventure Ocean was specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. Every cruise is different. But one thing never changes: kids will get to learn about local customs, do cool science experiments, and make great new friends. To participate in the Adventure Ocean programs or use the onboard pools and whirlpools, children must be three years of age and potty-trained (diaper and pull-up free). Parents can feel confident leaving their children with the staff because every member of our staff holds a college degree in education or other related field, or has qualified experience in working with children.
Weddings
Weddings are one of the most important events in ones life, but it shouldn't be one of the most stressful. There is no need to spend months stressing out about florists and caterers.
