Suggest that everyone let Cruise Ship Centre and the Cruise Line arrange all travel details and hotels. We wre very satisfied with the very nice hotel in Ft Lauderdale.All transfer arrangements made by them worked very well also. We always sail on smaller, more intimate ships. The staff of the Vollemdam were efficiant, friendly, and accommodating, as always..We enjoyed all our stops,,especially the Orchard Farm and the cliffdivers, but the Panama Canal was the definate high point, we have recounted this trip to anyone who asks us about our trip! On board the ship we enjoyed the wonderful meals in the dining room, which we went to every night We usually visited the Lido for breakfast , the buffet there was also super. The entertainment in the theatre was overall pretty good, especially the singers and dancers, and the pianist. We had trouble finding seats a few times, and went to the movies instead. We also enjoyed listening to Romeo in the Piano Lounge. I played some ship board games with the rec. staff and made a fool of myself to earn Dam Bucks to spend. Overall a wonderful ship, with a wonderful, well trained staff. Highly rec. the trip, and the ship.
