The attendance to detail and friendliness and efficiency of the Holland America crew is as in the past impeccable. However since the sale of Holland to Carnival there has been a noticeable decline in the level and amount of entertainment and activities offered on board. The ship itself although clean ,needs updating and the two jacuzzies were most of the time non functioning.There was a shortage of some bed linens! Whether this is due to shortage of funding or mismanagement it is a shame that a cruise line of past glory appears to be in decline.
