We really enjoyed our first cruise. The meals in the dinning room for dinner were excellent and they looked after Brenda's gluten free menu very well. We did have some concerns with the meals at the buffets. We found the quality of the food excellent but there didn't seem to be enough choices at some times of the day. For instance the day we went to San Juan, we didn't eat on shore because we were going to catch the buffet at midnight. Bad idea. The midnight buffet was mostly fruit and cake. In all fairness to Costa I guess this is a typical Italian midnight buffet. Our room was great we were surprised at the size of the room we had and the size of the balcony. we were expecting much smaller accommodations. The ports we stopped at were very good, lots to do and see and the shops were interesting and reasonably priced. The staff on the boat were always very helpful and very pleasant and polite. All in all there was very little we didn't enjoy. IT WAS A GREAT HOLIDAY!!!! and we are going to do it again. Lloyd and Brenda Lihou
