1) BEST THING - dining and table companions 2)MOST MEMORABLE THING - septic tank smell on my balcony when ship was moving. I paid a lot of money to have a balcony but could not enjoy it nor the "fresh" air I was expecting at night. I need to keep balcony door open to get air or I can't breathe. I ran a Heppa Filter all day but the foul odour took the enjoyment out of my cruise. I did get an offer of $500 cash immediately or $1,000 credit for a cruise taken within a year from HAL & opted for the cash. I do not feel this is enough compensation for the smell plus the time spent dealing with staff about this matter. I think they should have paid me the difference between the cost of a balcony and an outside room. We had high winds and waves from San Diego to Victoria arriving too late there for any outings. Not the fault of HAL, but a damper on the trip nevertheless. 3)IMPROVEMENTS - adult hours at the pool(s); larger bathrobes for larger people; better desserts (more fruit pies) & non dairy ice cream
