The Voyager class ships are very large with lots of choices for daily activities including a skating rink. The ice show is something you don't want to miss! Our balcony cabin was just fine - bathrooms are small, but the shower is very functional. We sailed to Bermuda from New Jersey. The closest (and cheapest) airport from the cruise terminal is Newark. We stayed in downtown Manhatten and took a cab to the airport. It is quite pricey since New York cabs charge a premium to go to New Jersey - and don't assume they know where the cruise terminal is. Bring driving directions with you! I don't know how much it would have cost to book a hotel room through the cruiseline, but it would be worth checking out to avoid some confusion and then ground transportation to the ship would be included. Food is really great. On Explorer of the Sea there is a section in the Windjammer called Jade. It has Oriental food which was a nice touch for meals. My only complaint about this trip is that it was too short! 5 days was not long enough ...
