The only complant that I have is the manditory charge of $10 a day per person that is levied by Holland America for tipping. I believe this should be at the travellers discreation. The meals were very good with alot of variety. Eating in the dinning room was more formal even on non-formal nights. I opted to eat a few evening meals in the Lido and the variety and quality was equal to the dinning room, but with a much more casual atmosphere. Evening entertainment was good - a mixture of singing, dancing - comedian/magician. The land portion of the tour 13 was very good. 2 nights in Denali and 2 nights in Fairbanks. I was surprised that the land portion did not include breakfast. I have been on many coach tours and breakfast (even if it was only continental) was included. The included Tundra tour in Denali was very good and the guide was excellent.
